Bespoke Design
We work with you to create a design that is both simple yet effective.
We use manual drafting along with CAD software, to create our drawings.
We are good at creating designs that will give your living space or business a lift.

General Engineering & Repairs
We’ve the wherewithal to take what you give us and bang it and bend it then give it back mended!
We also make stairs, gates and trailers, build house beams and outdoor structures. Our large
sectional roller allows us to easily roll tight curves in box section, angle and pipe.
MIG, stick and TIG welding, along with site welding and installations.

Blacksmithing
Your wish is our desire, made with anvil, forge and fire!
Turn back the clock, with some of our hand forged Wrought Iron, the stuff you won’t find in a shop.
Try some gorgeous hooks for your pots, a drying rack or some scrolls, perhaps a curtain rail or two,
all made the traditional way, in our 100-year-old coal forge -with a flue.

tongs’’ working and welding in NZ and overseas.

Who We Are
I was fortunate to have an innate gift for engineering from a young age.
It was also fortunate that my parents owned a large lifestyle block so machines and fences and all things practical became the norm for me.
Combined with artistic gifts I also inherited, is the creativity which infuses my work.
During my first career as a fencer, I designed and built a mobile post driver that was endorsed by a senior engineer who worked at CERN in Switzerland. Part of my experience comes from being asked to weld things while working on cattle ranches and stations overseas. And so, I have a wide lateral
ability, and experience, to offer my clients.
When I decided to make engineering my main career, and after gaining formal qualifications for practical purposes and after gaining my welding ticket, I was immediately offered employment at a leading wrought iron producing workshop, where I served for two years as fabricator/welder.
Many clients seek my services because they know that precision and exactitude and functionality combined with the artistic factor is what I offer, as well as the foundational welding and fabrication elements. I design to custom fit a client’s concept and requirement, and am also asked to fix and
repair ancient machinery.
